We had an unexpected ecological protest take place at the ball games this afternoon. Before thanking the crowd for listening to her and waving to almost universal cheers, she made the following statement:

Look, it’s a government scheme. Government is the idea that if we can be grouped, we can be ruled. Technically speaking, the more we worship at these cathedrals, the more we feed the industrial machine that is killing us every day. The necessity to generate money to pay for these extravagances generates the machine. Every time anyone gets in a car anywhere, it is an act of violence. And if they know this, if they are aware that they are causing damage, this is malice aforethought and it makes them criminals. Sometimes, that’s all you need to know about law to make sense of pretty much everything. Did they do it on purpose? In this case, they did.

God bless people with social consciences and the will to fight for what is right. We have only one planet. Perhaps we should live on it well.
