Sunday morning meeting

Okay, let’s at least attempt to show that we are awake and alive and ready to go back to work.

We are not awake or alive nor are we ready to go back to work.

I understand that. I just want you to pretend.

Fine. What’s the story, chief?

Let’s just get some thoughts together as for where we are going this week. Are we doing any more on this business with the forest?

Yeah, this is it. I think we’ve got to quit beating around the bush and tell everybody the truth.

And what is the truth?

Eventually, it’s a cultural thought. It’s not what we thought but it exists.

Okay, do you think this is going to take up a lot of space or a little space?

I’m not really sure. All I know is that we seem to be wrapping things up and I don’t think we’re going to be upsetting the fabric of our society. I think at the end of it, it’s about veganism but it’s also about human veganism and human food and the effect it has on us. I think it’s a worthwhile thing to think about and I believe we have a good conclusion to that story.

Good. Let’s have you and Joy work on it, okay Arthur?

No problem.

Carl.

Yes, G?

Would you like to write something for a sidebar this week?

Not really. I show up enough on these pages without adding my own voice. I’m not so sure it’ll help.

Okay. Let’s keep this idea alive if we need it, okay?

I’m okay with that.

Herman. Good job last week.

Cheers.

More this week?

If you need me, I’m here. Just like always.

I couldn’t ask for more. But, I hear we have something interesting going on for the baseball. We are introducing a new player who just happens to be competing with Big Billy for the loudest voice competition.

You bet, chief. In fact, we have a guy who’s competing with everybody for everything. His name is George and he’s carrying the lumber for the woodshop. Big hitter. Big, big hitter. I think the wood shop outfield is enough to compete anywhere with anybody.

Who is this George character?

We’ve met him before. You remember we had a big fight between he and some annoying fellow.

Oh, that’s right. The alcoholic story.

Well, he’s drinking for us now and covering right field. And he can hit. He owns that short porch in right. You can call him George but we’ve been calling him Babe.

He can really hit?

Yeah. It’s fireworks.

Excellent. What about the children’s book? Are we importing again?

No. We just need some simple artwork and we have a good story to cover the center pages.

Good, good and very good. Is there anything else that needs to be discussed?

Green2021.org is starting to look pretty good.

I saw that today. How is the reload coming along?

Maybe this week. I like this new system. Maybe this week will be ready to start adding to it.

Good. I like it. What else?

Do we need this page three girl? We seem to be putting a naked girl on page 3. This was somebody’s idea but the world is different. Also, it’s not really spring time anymore. Do we need the nudity?

I can live without it. What about all the color from last week? I thought this was a black and white journal.

Who knows?

Okay, let’s try to keep things in black and white. So, we’ve got an in-house children’s book, Paradise is continuing, we have the conclusion of the Doran Forest story, some interesting things happening on the ball field. Have we got a good number?

Number six. Nothing to it but to do it.

Food. What about food? We have a garden fresh pesto / salad. It’s got to be shared.

At a first thought, I’m not really sure it fits. We don’t really have so much space. And we’re black and white. But, we’ve got all the space we need at Green 2021 or here.

Good enough.

Okay then. Let’s all have a good week. All we have to do is do our jobs and these things tend to work themselves out. Excellent work last week. Let’s have more of the same. If there are no questions or commentary, let’s go.
