There is great expense in preparing for such austere moments. It is not only the expenditure of money, it is the waste of human lives all for the purpose of appeasing our arrogance. Such are people like ourselves. Two pompous fools of ceremony and pageantry. And in the end, we are but fools growing older and wasting our days believing in profundity.
